Privacy Policy

Astral Threads: Untangle Stars is a general-audience puzzle game. It is not directed to children.

Local game data

The game uses Save v4 to keep progress, preferences, and game settings stored locally on your device. Astral Threads does not provide cross-platform restoration or cloud sync for this local game data.

The game does not require an account, email address, or login. We do not ask for your name, password, contacts, precise location, photos, microphone, or payment-card details. Advertising services can infer approximate location from an IP address as described below.

Purchases and restoration

Premium is a one-time purchase handled by Apple or Google. Apple ownership is associated with your Apple Account, and Google ownership is associated with your Google Account. Use Restore Purchases on the same platform to ask the native store to restore a previous purchase. Purchases do not transfer between Apple and Google platforms.

Apple and Google process store transactions under their own terms and privacy practices. Astral Threads does not receive your full payment information.

Advertising and consent

The free game can show interstitial ads through the Google Mobile Ads SDK. Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) presents consent choices where required. Google may collect and share an IP address, approximate location inferred from that address, app and ad interactions, diagnostics and performance data, and device and account identifiers for advertising, ad analytics, and fraud prevention. Google states that this data is encrypted in transit.

Ads are requested as contextual or non-personalized by default. Non-personalized ads can still use identifiers for purposes such as frequency capping and aggregated ad reporting. UMP applies the choices available in a user’s region, including limited-ad handling where applicable.

On Android, Astral Threads removes the Android advertising-ID permissions and the deprecated Privacy Sandbox Topics and Attribution permissions from the final merged manifest. The Google SDK can still use an app set ID or other app-, developer-, device-, or account-bounded identifiers. On iOS, Astral Threads does not request App Tracking Transparency authorization and does not add an IDFA permission path.

We do not use ad mediation in the game. Premium stops ad requests and removes ads.

Analytics

Astral Threads does not include a standalone product-analytics SDK, analytics prompt, or analytics toggle. Google’s advertising analytics are limited to the advertising behavior described above. This site has no analytics or tracking scripts.

Support messages

If you contact us, we receive the email address, message, and any details you choose to send. We use this information only to respond to your request, troubleshoot the game, or handle a privacy or deletion request. We retain support messages only as long as reasonably needed for those purposes, then delete them unless a longer retention period is required by law.
